Does anyone have any data on chlorides similar to this?



I'm trying to run just some simple infinite lattice calculations for a chloride reactor, but I can't find the information needed to make the density calculations.

Specifically, I need PuCl3, UCl3, ThCl4, NaCl, KCl, MgCl2, and others like that (actinide chlorides, alkali-metal chlorides, alkaline-earth chlorides).

Any help would be appreciated.

Densities & molecular weights listed in the CRC Handbook are:
PuCl3, 5.70/348.36
UCl3, 5.44/344.39
ThCl4, 4.59/373.85
NaCl, 2.165/58.44
KCl, 1.984/74.56
MgCl2, 2.32/95.22

All are at 25°C.

Nice--now those are molar volumes, right? What units are they in? If you had them at another temperature we could compute density coefficients as well.

In the same table, H2O is listed as 1.000
So it can be either specific gravity or density in g/cc.
