Thanks Burghard.

I am intensely interested in this project at the moment as it represents the first semi-commercial/commercial use of a multi-megawatt class supercritical carbon dioxide turbine.
I am interested in supercritical carbon dioxide cycles as I am currently attempting to obtain funding for an MPhil where I hope to explore the integration of a condensing supercritical carbon dioxide cycle with a pressure tube water reactor like a CANDU.
We believe we can obtain higher efficiency than existing units with far more compact machinery, at a lower overall cost.
And also generate more electricity in colder weather thanks to a colder cold sink, which lines up well with the demand profile in the UK.

Project Tundra is interesting. This was posted April 2016.

Still, a LFTR (Flibe Energy, Huntsville, AL) started on plutonium to run the thorium fuel cycle beats carbon oxidation by a million and leaves the fossil deposits in the ground. LFTR has the potential to enable far more.
